Women’s Wrestling Open Mat Sunday, March 1, from 4 to 6pm

Join us this Sunday (and every month) as Kelly Kusumoto, 2008 HS Women’s State Champion and two-time All-American Folkstyle wrestler leads us in getting down. (sets us up so we can get down!) Practice your pins, takedowns, and duckunders!

What’s it gonna cost me? This is a sliding scale, daan, donation event; funds will be used to support the use of the space and instructor. No one turned away for lack of funds.

Catching Fire: A Girl’s Guide to Self Defense Sunday, March 8, 1 to 3:30PM

COST: $30 AGES: 12-18 years old Catching Fire: A Girl’s Guide to Self Defense This workshop uses relatable language and scenarios to demonstrate ways for girls to be safer. While learning self-defense basics and de-escalation techniques, girls explore personal space, creating boundaries, and self-awareness. The program will also cover bullying, emotional abuse, physical abuse, and unwanted touch/advancements.SIGN UP HERE!
